OAKLAND ART MURMUR FIRST FRIDAY
Every Friday from 6:00pm-9:00pm.
Every month – rain or shine! On the first Friday of every month, Oakland Art Murmur hosts an evening art walk featuring arts and mixed-use venues collectively open to the public. More than 40 galleries open their doors, debuting artist shows in what has been called “the new-old Brooklyn”. Art Murmur spans the neighborhoods from Uptown, Downtown, Lake Merritt, Jack London, Old Oakland, North Oakland, West Oakland and Jingletown. Check out the Oakland Art Murmur digital map to customize your experience.
Lynne Meade gives wheel thrown pottery demo at Oakland Art Murmur
Lynne Meade Ceramics has a studio at FM Oakland and gives a live demo of wheel thrown pottery during Oakland Art Murmur First Friday. The pots made during the evening will be finished and available for purchase at next month’s event.
Come see the live demo and buy Lynne's first quality ceramics and a feature section of seconds and teaching demos in person at FM Oakland during the Art Murmur First Friday of every month. Walk through the studio and chat with Lynne about her process and inspiration.
