Approve the order, lead time, shipping cost and other charges, so that Lynne can start production of your piece. Payment in full is due upon acceptance of the order. For custom orders, 50% deposit is required. The balance is due upon completion. All ceramics are made-to-order.
4. Lead Time
Lynne wants you to enjoy your piece as soon as possible. Lead time is generally 1 to 3 weeks. Since each piece is handmade by Lynne, sometimes making may take a little bit longer. Lead time for custom sizes is 5 to 6 weeks. Rush orders will incur a rush charge quoted on a case-by-case basis.
When your order is ready, Lynne will pack and ship it to the address provided in the order form. Shipping options include FedEx, USPS, UPS, DHL or a freight carrier of your choice. If a phone number is required for shipping, Lynne will request one prior to shipping. You’ll receive a confirmation of shipping with a shipper tracking number, so that you can follow the package in transit.
Please note that all duties and VAT are the responsibility of the recipient, and vary by country, depending on size, shipping cost, and other factors. We reserve the right to adjust the final cost of shipping and handling based on extra costs incurred.
In the event that your piece is damaged in shipping, Lynne will handle the claim and re-make your order on a priority basis. Send her photos of the damaged piece(s), the outer packaging and any damages to the box and packaging.
Lynne wants you to love your new ceramic art. For standard pieces, returns are accepted for refund or exchange within 30 days after receipt of items. Refunds are made for product price only. Shipping and rush charges are non-refundable. Return shipping is paid by you. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the original packaging and in the same condition that you received it. All sales are final on seconds, sale, custom and commissioned items.
To request a return, send an email via our contact form with the subject line "Return Request". Goods must be received back at Lynne's studio within 30 days of return approval to be eligible for refund or exchange. Items received without approval or outside the return window will be refused and/or returned to sender at the customer’s expense. Lynne Meade is not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs when return shipping, so we strongly encourage you to pack the items well and ship via a trusted carrier. Lynne will notify you via email when your return is received and processed.
